May

The last week and a half of May were busy. First was Oakley's kindergarten graduation. At the first of the year I had signed up to help with it but only one other mother signed up from Oakley's class and none for the other two kindergarten classes. Somehow I ended being in charge of almost everything for all three classes. Luckily it all came together and the kids were adorable.

The week after kindergarten graduation Oakley lost his first tooth. He was really excited.

The same day that Oakley lost his tooth Lexi's class went on a field trip to Lagoon. I volunteered to drive and be a chaperon. We all had a lot of fun.

The Cliffhanger. It wasn't a very hot day and I didn't want to freeze by getting wet on this ride so I graciously offered to stay off and take picture.

The day after Lagoon was Addi's preschool graduation. She looked so cute!

A couple of times during the year Addi's teachers told me about a boy in her class that seemed to have a crush on Addi. He always saved a spot for her next to him and he had a special Valentine's just for her. His name was Tristen and Addi talked about him all the time. One day she even told me that Tristen had asked her if she would marry him. I tried to get them to stand together and so I could get a picture of them but neither one of them would cooperate. As you can see he wasn't very happy about getting his picture taken. I hope this isn't mean, but I hope he's not in her class next year, I mean she's way to young for a marriage proposal, right?!

The same day of preschool graduation was the award assembly at the girl's school. Jensen took first in the Science Fair. I was so proud because she'd worked so hard on her project.

Each teacher picks a boy and girl from their class to get the King and Queen of Narnia award. They are supposed to pick the kids who best represent the values that they try to teach at the school, accountability, responsibility, and respect. Lexi got the Queen of Narnia award for her class. I was so excited for her. She is growing up into such an awesome person.
