Summer happenings!

WARNING! Long post ahead! In trying to get caught up I don't want to leave stuff out since this is my journal but a I don't have time to do a bunch of individual posts so I am going to do one long summer post. The summer of 2011 was a ton of fun! We spent a lot of time in Blanding as usual, our favorite summer hangout. Jensen was there for most of the summer so she could participate in 4H and horse games with Camryn. She loved it! I really wish we lived there so she could do it every year. When we were there for the horse games the kids loved watching all the action.
Addi and Oakley hanging out at the Monticello fair grounds waiting to watch Jensen and Camryn.

We always love having time to play with cousins!

We spent the 4th of July in Blanding as usual. Grandpa and Grandma ran in the 5K again. The rest of us all wimped out this year and didn't participate. We were support staff. :)

 Grandpa and Grandma, you're awesome!

We all had a lot of fun spending time with cousins!
Livvy and Addi are always best friends, unless they're fighting of course. ;)

Everyone hanging out waiting for the parade to start.

Lexi is always amazing and helps the kids get candy!

After the parade we went to the park to enjoy all the festivities. After playing at the carnival and eating lots of yummy food and treats it was time to cool off. The kids went to the swimming pool to do "diving for dollars."

Addi is looking hard for those dollars!

Jensen also competed in some swimming races and did amazing! She is such an awesome athlete!
Later that night after resting up at Grandma and Grandpa's house for awhile we headed back down to watch the fireworks at the park. I didn't get any pictures but we had a ton of fun as usual!

Addi played t-ball. I don't think I've ever seen a cuter ball player!

Oakley had the Pine Wood Derby for scouts. His amazing dad helped him make an awesome car and he smoked the competition! He took 1st place and had a blast!
His car is the green one in the back left corner.

Grandma Lyman decided they needed a miniature horse to keep Paco (the donkey) company. Kristi came up to get her and they stopped by for a visit on their way home. Isn't she adorable! Her name is Chiquita.

And one of the most exciting things to happen this summer was the 2 new cousins we got!
On July 11 Stacy and Taylor had Palmer. We love her!

And on Aug. 10 Noelle and Trent had Denver. We love him too!

We are so blessed to live a block from where they are building the Payson temple. We decided to go get some pictures of the lot before there is a temple there so we could remember the excitement of watching it be built.

The groundbreaking for the Payson temple was Oct. 8, 2011. We're so excited to watch as it goes up! It's going to be a beautiful temple!
